BRACAnalysis®
BRACAnalysis is test that looks for mutations in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes with a result available within 21 working days.
People who carry a mutation have a predisposition to develop breast cancer, ovarian cancer and prostate cancer, as well as other cancers and have a 50% chance of passing this mutation onto each of their children.
People who may benefit from the BRACAnalysis include; those with a personal and/or family history of breast and ovarian cancer, those with early onset of breast cancer prior to age 50 and women of Ashkenazi Jewish descent.
